Over-seen verses

 Ok, ich habe mich endlich entschlossen die ganze Bibel mal durchzulesen. Ja, ich weiß, drei Jahre Bibelschule hieß für mich leider nicht, dass ich die Bibel schon mal durchgelesen hab. =) 

Aber dafür ist es ja nie zu spät.

Das coole daran ist, dass schon bei der ersten "Lesung" (für mich) neue Dimensionen zum Vorschein gekommen sind. Cool, oder?!?!

Zwar ist es in Genesis 3, 22-23. Adam und Eva haben’s verbockt, sind in Sünde gefallen, wurden so zu sagen dafür bestraft und dann aus dem Garten Eden herausgeschickt. Und in Vers 22 fängt Gott an zu reden und erklärt weshalb er die Menschen aus Eden wegschicken will, weil er nicht will, dass sie von dem Baum des Lebens essen und für immer leben! Denn wenn man’s logisch denken würde: Mensch isst die Frucht vom Baum der Erkenntnis --> Sündenfall --> Mensch & die Welt unter dem Fluch der Sünde --> (hypothetisch) Mensch isst vom Baum des Lebens à ewiges Leben in der Welt voller Sünde und Zerbrochenheit.

Gott hat sie weggeschickt weil er will, dass wir irgendwann dann mal auch sterben. Klingt krass, ist aber eigentlich total faszinierend! Seinen Willen wäre damit ja, dass alle Menschen eines Tages aus der Sündhaften und zerbrochenen Welt herauskommen können, um für immer mit ihm im Himmel zu sein.

Ok, I finally decided to read through the whole Bible. Yes, I know, three years of Bible school for me unvortunatley did not mean that I read the whole Bible. =)

But it's not too late for that.

The cool thing is, that already during my first "reading session" I discovered (for me) a new dimension. Cool, huh??
 

Genesis 3: 22-23. Adam and Eve's screwed up, have fallen into sin, then so to speak, were punished and then sent out from the Garden of Eden. In verse 22, God begins to speak and explaines why he wants to send the humans away from Eden: because he does not want them to eat from the Tree of Life and live forever! Because if you'd would think it through logically: man eats the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil --> the Fall --> Man lives under the curse of sin --> (hypothetically) Man eats from the tree of life --> eternal life in the world of sin and brokenness.

God has sent the humans away because he wants them to die at some point. It sounds harsh, but is actually totally fascinating! His will is that one day, all humans may come to him, out of the sinful and broken world, to be with him forever in heaven.
